Each year our optometrists see over 100,000 people around the UK who are unable to leave their homes without assistance. For those who qualify we provide FREE NHS sight test in their home, enabling them to enjoy greater dignity and independence and a better quality of life.

Sight Test with Healthcall

Our equipment is the most up-to-date available and designed specifically for home sight tests. The patient's home is easily transformed into a consulting room, allowing our visiting optometrists to perform a full and comprehensive sight test at home.

In order to evaluate your current state of health and medical history our optometrists will ask you some questions:

Frames

Our teams carry a large variety of spectacle frames, ranging from budget styles (provided free to those entitled to an NHS voucher) to the latest designer frames, plus all types of lenses at highly competitive prices. This allows us to provide all types of prescription spectacles following a home sight test.

Delivery of spectacles

When the spectacles are ready they are delivered to the patient's home and expertly fitted by one of our dispensing optometrists or trained clinical assistants.

Training

Our assistants have undergone training so they fully understand the problems experienced by those suffering from low vision and ways in which they can be helped.

Aftercare

Healthcall also provide comprehensive aftercare including ongoing advice and free repair service. This is offered as part of the service at no additional charge.
